Don't you love those first few mornings when you've gotten your head screwed on straight again, and the water weight just starts sliding off? I stepped on the scale this morning and found a 1.5 pound loss from yesterday... just the motivation I need to keep on trucking.
And, yes, I'm a daily weigher. It works for me because I'm able to see (and dismiss) the tiny ups and downs in my weight, so that a week of hard work isn't undone on Friday morning by a freak hormonal fluctuation.
My morning routine consists of the following:
Pee
Weigh In
Coffee
It's time for coffee.

ReplyDeleteGlad to have you back with us, Haleybird! Gotta tell you - I love the new avatar! The bewigged cat kinda creeped me out.... but I'm odd that way. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally do the daily weigh in exactly the same way!
Hehe...yeah, she was pretty creepy. :) I think the new bird is a bit more representative of me...
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty funny...I do the exact same thing!!!
ReplyDeleteHeh...since my knee got gibbled my morning routine has been about the same.
ReplyDeleteMeehee but that little bird is cute!
You have your jeans hanging up!! yay! gotta love those long and leans.
ReplyDeleteMiss Theresa -- Welcome!
ReplyDeleteGeosim -- isn't he an adorable little pisser? Man, I hope your knee start feeling better soon.
Katieo-- Yup, they're staring me down!
Yay!!! You're back!!! I'm happy!
ReplyDeleteI'm a daily weigher, too. I don't pay attention otherwise, and then suddenly I'm up ten pounds and have no idea how/when it happened. Keeping it in the forefront makes me (more)accountable.
