Hello. Welcome.
Chances are, you've come to this blog in one of two ways.
1. You googled "bulk bird seed" or "ladybird johnson nude pix" or "big bird's love child" and are clicking out of here with all due haste.
OR
2. I've stalked you at your own blog and begged you to come hang out with me here.
It's probably the latter.
So yes, to the folks who knew me as a pink-wigged cat and wondered where I disappeared to, let's just say I needed a fresh start. A blank slate. A new bizarre animal incarnation to keep the kids guessing. Oh, and a blog that I didn't stupidly have my full google-able name attached to.
Sheesh.
I'm still working out how I want to use this blog to help me lose weight. In the past I haven't posted actual numbers, and I'm debating whether that's something I want to maintain or not. I'm thinking about a food log... I'm also thinking about a more twitterish frequency and pace with lots of short posts through the week, bookended with longer more thoughtful ramblings after a couple glasses of wine on the weekends.
We shall see.

ReplyDeleteKiki--
Doh! I would love to meet you, but I'll be home in PA on Friday helping my parents get ready for my cousin's wedding the next day (he's doing it at our house). Let me know the next time you're in the area and we'll totally hang out!
I just weighed myself after a stressful week and weekend (death, wake, memorial party), and it isn't pretty. You are just the inspiration I need!
ReplyDeleteMy ultimate goal is to lose 20 pounds (unlikely), but 10 pounds off would be fine.
Good luck and hang in there!
Hi Susan! I'm right there with you -- 20 is ideal, but 10 would make me very, very happy...
ReplyDeleteI just checked out your blog -- as an aspiring librarian, it's right up my ally! :)
Congrats on the new blog! Good luck with everythignj :)
ReplyDeleteAnd the LM is one of the reasons for the stress. I think he's on his way out :(
Awwww shite. :( I'm sorry, hon. I hope he either redeems himself, or makes the break as quick and painless as possible so that you can meet the real mr. right without delay.
ReplyDeleteummm, I commented on this post earlier today. I wonder what happened to it. damn.
ReplyDeleteIt was very clever, whatever I wrote.
